Put AI to work without handing it the decision
AI arrives before the work is organised.
- Everyone tries an AI tool on their own.
- No one knows what can be given to AI, or how to check it.
- AI adds a step instead of removing one.
A step comes at the wrong moment.
2024 · International healthcare group · 10 lawyers · 4,500 employees
Every day, employees asked questions whose answers already sat in internal documentation: about 350 a month, 61% on documented information, with an average wait of 2.4 days. One team had asked four people to get an answer written in a group policy.
We built an agent in Copilot Studio and SharePoint, limited to a validated corpus, with one central rule: no source, no answer. It cites its source, says when it does not know and routes to legal. It gives no legal opinion. Six months later, 68% of documentary questions got an immediate answer, and their turnaround had gone from 2.4 days to a few minutes.
AI takes on research, first reads and formatting. It works on work that is already organised, under written rules of use. The decision stays with the lawyer.
Use cases chosen on the team’s real matters, written rules of use, deployment in your environment.
